Ovetta Mae Steilacoom

Ovetta Mae Steilacoom passed away on July 12, 2015 in Sequim, WA, of natural causes. She was 94.

She was born on January 6, 1921 to Lilly and Myles Lammie in Humptulips, WA. She married Fred Steilacoom on December 10, 1936. She had two daughters Beverly and Sheila.

Ovetta retired from Olympic Memorial Hospital after working in the Central Supply Department for 35 years sterilizing surgical equipment and preparing surgical packages for use in surgery.
Mrs. Steilacoom is survived by her daughters Beverly Michalscheck Diamond of Port Angeles, WA, and Sheila Stark of Kingston, WA.

Grandchildren include Cyndee and Chuck Thompson, Fred Jr. and Mindy Michalscheck, Sharilyn Michalscheck, Ed and Beth Stark, Linda Stark Turman, Randy and Holly Michalscheck, John and Susan Stark and Ken Stark.

Great grandchildren are Michael Thompson, Tanya Thompson Turner, Jimi Michalscheck, Wyatt Michalscheck, Nicholas Michalscheck, Tandi Michalscheck, Tyler Michalscheck, Anika and Gabe Kessler, Wade Stark, Elisha Stark, Audra Stark Turman, Jennifer McCann, Robbie Movius, and Christopher Rawson.

A Celebration of Life potluck will be held at Ed and Beth’s, 51 Westwind Drive Port Angeles, WA on Saturday July 25th at 12 noon.
