I am saddened by the news of Rex's passing - my condolences to the Abbott family. I bought the lot next door to Rex and Carolyn. Even though my meeting was brief, Rex left a lasting impression and both Rex and Carolyn had the whole neighborhood for dinner the time I was in Sequim (seems like a long time ago - maybe a decade ago) - He definitely had a zest for life and loved to create videos - which were quite entertaining! I loved his innovative ways he made "stuff" work - other people would give up on a piece of equipment, but Rex would improvise and make it work again. Admirable! Quite a guy - He will be missed by many.
