Judith A Light

Our dear Judith A Light passed away at home into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, after an intensive battle with cancer. She was cared for lovingly by her husband Jack, who she was married to for 32 years, volunteer hospice and numerous friends.

Judy was born to Benjamin and Theresa Melfi in South Orange, New Jersey. She had 4 older sisters: Norma (deceased), Peggy (deceased), Gloria and Corinne.  She loved all her nieces and nephews: Pam, Cynthia, Lewis, Melissa, Thomas, Bill, Bob, Richard, Steve, Scott, Lori, Linda, Leslie, John (Laura), Paul, Erin and Diedre.

Judie had one brother Benjamin, who passed away too early in life.

She loved her husband Jack’s 2 sons; Jay and Kevin.

Judie and Jack were members of Olympic Bible Fellowship and shared God’s love and His blessings with so many. She was the epitome of her last name, Light. She lit up any room she walked into.

She was a superb cook and fed so many friends and shared precious recipes. She loved her flowers (with lots of work for Jack)

Her smile and generous heart went to all she knew and she knew no stranger. She wanted to say to all: “What if we’d never met and Thank You Jack”.

Our Judie will be Missed!

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday April 6th 2016 at the Faith Baptist Church, 7652 Old Olympic Hwy at 2:00 PM.

Pastor Rich Hay will be speaking and a reception with food will follow at the church.
