Mom and Lucy May were girls together in the Berg and later sisters-in-law. Mom had a very special place in her heart for Lucy. I am so glad that you brought her to see Mom a year ago.

Hello Carol and Linda: As I said in my letter after learning about your Mom\'s death, she, was one of a kind! A dear and funny friend over the many years we worked together at the law firm and also after hours when she and Bill and Dean and I spent many wonderful times together, playing cards or attending social events. Lucy will always be remembered as a complete joy to know and be around. I have no doubt but what she is already entertaining others in Heaven with one of her jokes and delighting them with her sunny disposition. Along with you, I will miss her. Love both of you, too. For a number of reasons I will not be able to attend her service but I will be there with you all in spirit. Betty

I'm very sorry to hear of your mom passing. My mom, Florence, passed away in 2012. I remember your mom and visiting at the house in Olympic Manor, and playing with you, Linda. Our moms were in "sewing club" together. We moved from Ballard out to Edmonds in 1957. I now live with my husband in Snohomish where we have a small farm, horses and dogs.
