William Heinze, 78, a resident of Sequim, Washington died on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Olympic Medical Center.

Mr. Heinze was born December 20, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Marth Heinze of German heritage. He was an excellent chef and baker, following in his father’s footsteps; an occupation that was brought over from Germany.

Mr. Heinze had worked in food service at the Seven Cedars Casino in Sequim where he very much enjoyed interacting with the customers. For many years, he worked as a chef for the Job Corps in Brunswick, Georgia. He held other jobs in California, Colorado, Texas and Florida during his younger years.

Mr. Heinze was quite the handyman, able to fix most anything. He enjoyed all kinds of music and loved to play his harmonica. A favorite hobby of his was following the stock market, which he became quite an expert at.

Most of all, Mr. Heinze had a love for his Lord Jesus and was daily in his Word. Even though he will be deeply missed, his family is thankful he is now in the presence of his Savior.

Mr. Heinze is survived by his wife, Diane of 41 years, eight children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and three siblings; Marge Glade of Laguna Wood, California, Ralph Heinze of Wheaton, Illinios and Sue Wilke of Seattle, Washington.

A memorial for Mr. Heinze Will be held at 2pm on Saturday December 5th, 2015 at Hope Lutheran Church located at 4456 42nd Ave. SW in West Seattle.
