Antonio (Tony) Carlos DelaTorre Rodriguez, age 70 of Bremerton, WA died on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022. He was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on June 12th, 1951. During his time on earth Tony accepted Jesus into his life and remained dedicated to his faith. Tony was a musician his entire life, he played congas and a variety of percussion instruments on the church worship team and in bands with his brother and friends.
Tony was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War. He remained deeply patriotic to his country and spent 34 years working for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, yielding a total of 41 years in service to his country. After retiring in 2014, he enjoyed spending his time with loved ones, cooking delicious meals, and cheering for the Huskies, Mariners, and Seahawks. He was an avid fisherman his entire life and his very favorite pastime was spending time with his granddog Duke.
He is survived by his wife Pam, his mother Carmen, his sons Skyler (Heather) and Evan (Duke), his twin brother Carlos (Sandy), his sisters Leyda and Vilma (Eric), and his brother Orlando (Katya). He was also a loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Arcadio.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Family Worship Center in Port Orchard, WA on Saturday, January 22nd at 5 p.m.
