Carol Lorraine Brown
April 16, 1946 – April 20, 2025
Carol passed away Easter Sunday April 20, 2025 due
to declining health issues at the age of 79. Carol was
born in Jackson, Minnesota on April 16, 1946, and due
to father’s job transfers, moved around a lot, attending
many schools.
She met Charlie and got married on September 2,
1967, in Mount Vernon WA. They were together for 57
years of adventure and happiness, with tours in Athens
Greece, Washington DC, and Frankfurt Germany. Son
James W Brown was born in Washington D.C. and
son David C Brown was born in Athens Greece. After
retirement, Carol and Charlie moved back to Sequim,
WA. and had many exciting years of boating to Alaska,
Canada, and Puget Sound WA. in their 25 ft cruiser.
Carol loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles.
She was very good with numbers and worked in
the Cash Office for Montgomery Ward and J.C Penny
company. She always kept our finances in good order.
She always had a smile and positive attitude in spite of
her many health issues.
Carol is survived by husband Charlie, sons James
and David and their families, sisters Connie Hague,
Sue Longbottom, Shirley Owen, Ruth Turner, Bonnie
Sims, and brother Everett Jensen Jr. There are many
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol was cremated and will be interned at home.
A celebration of life is scheduled for May 3rd at home
for friends and family.
