Cary Gallauher Obituary

Cary Gallauher, 46, of Sequim, WA, passed away on May 6, 2026 in Seattle, WA, surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with illness.

Born in Port Angeles, Wa on January 20, 1980 to Jack and Bonnie Gallauher, Cary attended Sequim Schools and was active in their athletic department. He especially enjoyed football and wrestling.

Cary always lived life at full volume, bringing an unmistakable energy and an amazing sense of humor to everyone he met. He could often be found under the hood of a car or with a guitar pick in hand playing for anyone who would listen, but his greatest passion was hunting all kinds of “critters” every chance he got. Cary's love for life was contagious, making him the natural centerpiece of every gathering. More than anything, Cary cherished his friends and family, treating his buddies like brothers and his family as his anchor. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loud music, and a powerful reminder to the rest of us to never waste a single day.

Cary is survived by His mother, Bonnie Gallauher, Wife, Amanda, Daughter Neala, Brother, JJ, Sisters, Shayne and Shawna, as well as many aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, cousins and friends. Cary was preceded in death by His father, Jack.

A Celebration of life will be held on June 7, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Jamestown Tribal Red Cedar Community Center located at 1033 Old Blyn Hwy, Sequim, WA 98382.
