Charles Francis Wilfing of Sequim, Washington, passed away June 15, 2021 at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles after a brief illness. He was 59. Charles was born on June 11, 1962 to Charles and Ann Wilfing in Wellsville, Ohio.
He is survived by his sister, Janice Wilfing. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and lived for several years in Baltimore, Maryland before returning to live in Springfield, Ohio where he was employed by Panasonic.
He was an avid runner, lifted weights and participated in triathlons. Charles rescued and adopted many cats over the years and had a soft heart for animals in general. Upon retiring Charles and his sister moved to Sequim. He did custom paintings on rocks as a paying hobby. His customers were delighted and amazed by the delicate precision of his work. When he wasn't at the gym or painting, Charles loved watching sports and science fiction, he had a large record collection and ending every evening listening to music.
A wonderful brother and a good man, Charles will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
He requested no services. Donations to an animal shelter in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
